UVU’s Sorensen Student Center remodel was designed to transform a heavily used campus hub into a more functional, welcoming, and student-centered space. Completed in phases over 18 months, the reconstruction expanded dining areas, improved circulation with widened hallways, redesigned the bookstore, added a Starbucks franchise, and renovated key student service spaces including Campus Connection, the post office, the Zone, and the Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs.

The project also expanded Student Health Services, Mental Health Services, the Center for Social Impact, and Dining Services, strengthening resources that directly support student well-being and campus life. This investment is important because it enhances the daily student experience while preparing the university for continued growth.
