The Smith College of Engineering and Technology facility is a vibrant hub for innovation, collaboration, and hands-on learning, serving a rapidly growing student body of more than 6,400. With one-third of students pursuing degrees in civil, computer, electrical, or mechanical engineering, as well as computer science, the building is purpose-built to meet the evolving demands of contemporary engineering education.

Flexible classrooms and adaptable laboratories enable the college to respond to emerging technologies while fostering experiential learning. Dedicated manufacturing spaces offer students the opportunity to design, test, and fabricate solutions to real-world engineering challenges. These environments strengthen connections between students, faculty, industry, and government partners, creating a dynamic setting for research, training, and collaboration.
