Salt Lake Community College Taylorsville Redwood Campus Larry H & Gail Miller Family Business Building Addition & Renovation
The Larry H. and Gail Miller Business Building Addition and Renovation reimagines a 1984 campus landmark as a vibrant hub for learning, collaboration, and connection. Expanding on recent upgrades, the project introduces innovative amenities that enrich the student experience and support evolving approaches to business education.
Designed by Jacoby Architects, the revitalized facility supports programs in Accounting, Finance, Legal Studies, Management and Marketing, and Computer Science and Information Systems. Flexible, future-ready spaces, including maker and startup areas, a business resource center, tiered collaboration spaces, a 150-seat auditorium, and a rooftop event venue, extend learning beyond the classroom and foster meaningful interaction.
Situated on the northeast edge of the Redwood Campus, the site allows for strategic expansion without disrupting surrounding buildings. Additions to the north, east, and south enhance access and visibility while thoughtfully integrating with existing green spaces and parking.
Reaveley Engineers is delivering structural solutions that prioritize adaptability, durability, and long-term performance, providing peace of mind as the building continues to support ambitious ideas and academic growth.
