Salt Lake Community College Jordan Campus Tim and Brenda Huval Student Center Remodel
The 41,000-square-foot Student Center at Salt Lake Community College’s Jordan Campus is a vibrant hub supporting student life, learning, and connection. Replacing the former Student Pavilion, this $17 million facility unifies essential services, study areas, and gathering spaces in a single, accessible location.
Owned by Salt Lake Community College and partially funded through student fees, the building provides a range of resources that support the whole student experience. Amenities include a campus bookstore, food services, the Bruin Pantry, a fitness center, child care, and the Center for Health and Counseling. Students also benefit from private study rooms, collaborative commons areas, a student lounge, and flexible event spaces that foster campus engagement.
The facility also brings together essential student support offices, such as Academic Advising, Financial Aid and Scholarships, Admissions, the Disability Resource Center, Veterans Services, and International Student Affairs. By centralizing these resources, the Student Center streamlines access to guidance and community, empowering students throughout the Jordan Campus.
