Farmington City Fire Department Station 72
Farmington City is developing Fire Station 72 to meet the growing demand for emergency services in the growing community. This state-of-the-art facility will primarily serve as a fire station, while also incorporating spaces for police operations and community education. The design features apparatus bays, firefighter dormitories, a training room, a kitchen, a day room, a public lobby, interview rooms, a fitness area, and other essential support spaces, all centered around a shared courtyard, promoting efficiency and collaboration.
Strategically located at Innovator Drive and Cook Lane, the station will improve response times in an area where nearly 40% of emergency calls originate. The $16 million project is funded without taxpayer dollars and positioned near expanding neighborhoods and a popular trail, reinforcing its role in public safety and community engagement.
