The New North Capitol Building will be 145,857 square feet, paired with a 115,322-square-foot parking structure that will offer approximately 350 stalls. The facility features one sub-grade level and four levels above, organized to support Utah State Heritage & Arts, museum functions, conference areas, the Governor’s Cabinet Suite, legislative support, and other building services.
A 17,000-square-foot History Museum on the first floor will protect historical collections and incorporate secure support zones and specialized archival storage to safeguard a wide range of artifacts. The building also offers flexible meeting spaces, administrative offices, and modern infrastructure that strengthen the operations of Utah’s government agencies.
