The Canyon View Terrace Parking Structure at Utah State University exemplifies how intelligent structural design generates enduring value for both the campus and the community. Built for a growing student body on a tight site, this five-story, 340-stall garage uses a hybrid steel and post-tensioned concrete system, providing open sightlines, improved safety, robust seismic performance, and a two-month faster construction timeline.

As the Structural Engineer of Record, we worked closely with Elliott Workgroup and Jacobsen Construction to transform the architectural vision into an efficient and resilient structure. Our approach reduced materials, safeguarded nearby infrastructure, and enabled early completion before the start of the Fall semester. The result: a bright, durable garage focused on user experience, sustainability, and long-term value.
