Harrington Center for the Arts Campus Phase I Theater Addition/Renovation
Hogan Construction
The Harrington Center for the Arts Campus Phase I reimagines the 1903 Harrington School as a permanent home for the arts in downtown American Fork. Designed by VCBO Architecture, the project carefully balances preservation with performance, respecting the historic structure while introducing a new 238-seat Studio Theater, rehearsal spaces, classrooms, a grand lobby, and a welcoming terrace. VCBO’s design approach protects the building’s legacy while positioning it to serve future generations.
Hogan Construction is leading construction efforts, coordinating the integration of new structural and performance systems within the existing framework. Their work ensures the historic building is strengthened and ready for modern use. Owned and operated by the nonprofit Harrington Center for the Arts, this 68,000-square-foot campus will support music, dance, theater, and visual arts, creating lasting cultural impact across Northern Utah County. Reaveley Engineers provided structural engineering services to deliver clarity, stability, and long-term performance.
