Tooele County School District Stansbury Junior High
Stansbury Junior High School will be the first two-story junior high school in the district. The building will span 167,530 SF and include an indoor running track. The design incorporates water-wise landscaping and efficient HVAC systems. The building's design is inspired by the area's unique geography and geology. The school's angles, motifs, and textures evoke the natural geological layers of the nearby mountains. The colors and patterns draw inspiration from the beauty of our valley, including the Great Salt Lake and its surroundings.
The building's exterior colors will complement those of Stansbury High School and be consistent with the school's mascot, the Colts. The school's design fosters collaborative learning and prepares students for the future based on a "21st Century Learning" model. This new design combines the best elements of schools throughout the state to create a unique educational environment for the Tooele County School District.
