The Phase II Expansion, completed in 2001, added 214,000 square feet of meeting andexhibit space, along with three levels of underground parking beneath the exhibit hall,accommodating up to 600 cars.Structural highlights include long-span custom steel roof trusses that support a ceiling heightof over 30 feet and serve as moment frame lateral-force-resisting members. The facility alsofeatures two-way, post-tensioned suspended concrete parking decks, and a post-tensionedconcrete beam/joist suspended exhibit hall floor capable of supporting heavy miningequipment displayed in industrial trade shows.
