Antelope Island State Park Visitor Center Addition/Remodel
The Antelope Island Visitor Center has been transformed from a 5,600-square-foot facility into a dynamic 27,000-square-foot hub for education, interpretation, and community engagement. The expansion introduces new restrooms, office space, a larger gift shop, enhanced educational and interpretive exhibits, a 200-person conference room, and a dedicated catering kitchen.
A new large-format theater, seating over 200 visitors, features the documentary Secrets of Great Salt Lake and provides an immersive storytelling experience. The extensively renovated original building now functions as a state-of-the-art learning center for K–12 students and university groups.
Method Studio led the architectural design, creating a welcoming, adaptable environment that supports public gatherings and learning. Reaveley Engineers delivered structural solutions that ensure the facility’s expansion, durability, and lasting performance, providing peace of mind for a destination designed to educate and inspire.
