University of Utah Research Park Orthopedic Injury Clinic Building Addition
Architectural Nexus
The University of Utah Health Research Park Orthopaedic Injury Clinic Building Addition is a strategic expansion to enhance surgical, clinical, and rehabilitative care. The project included the westward extension of the Level 1 surgical suite, adding four new operating rooms and expanding the PACU and pre-/post-operative areas. A two-story addition to the east created new space for musculoskeletal and sports medicine practices, while reconfigured physical therapy areas on Level 2 increased therapeutic capacity. The eastward extension of the main entry unified the existing facility with the new additions, improving wayfinding and creating a more welcoming experience for patients and visitors.
Reaveley collaborated with the University of Utah and a multidisciplinary team of architects and healthcare planners to bring this vision to life. Guided by our commitment to partnership, transparency, and innovation, we provided structural solutions that balanced performance, flexibility, and long-term value.
