Part-Time Marketing Coordinator

Are you ready to put what you learned about marketing into practice?

Reaveley Engineers is looking for someone with a degree in marketing or a related field and some hands-on experience through an internship, college project, formal work experience, or similar role.

This is an entry-level position for our marketing team. You will do real marketing work while learning about our firm, our industry, and the systems and processes we use.

We do not expect you to check every box. What matters most is that you understand the basics of marketing, ask good questions, and are a good fit for our team.

After you begin, you will help us develop the position into a formal job description based on the work you take on and where you show strength.

Two Important Parts of Your Job

CRM and SharePoint

You will research and update company, contact, and project information in our CRM and help organize and create metadata tags for information in SharePoint. As you learn about our systems, we hope you will take ownership of keeping this information accurate, current, and easy to find.

Digital Marketing

You will lead the day-to-day production of our social media and help manage our website under the direction of the marketing team.

You will:

·      Build, maintain, schedule the social media calendar

·      Gather project information, employee news, and photos

·      Draft and proofread social media and website content

·      Create and resize graphics

·      Add and update website text, images, projects, and employee information

·      Work with our web developer on larger changes and technical issues

Other Work You May Help With

As you learn, you will help with larger assignments and the small day-to-day tasks that keep the marketing department organized and moving. This may include:

·       Updating resumes, project descriptions, and presentations

·       Formatting and proofreading marketing materials

·       Creating and updating graphics

·       Coordinating project photography and taking photos at employee events

·       Helping with client events

·       Preparing awards and other submissions

·       Assisting with other marketing projects and department needs as priorities change

·       Answering the phone on Mondays and Thursdays

Requirements

·      College degree in marketing or a related field

·      Follow established brand guidelines

·      Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

·      Somehands-on marketing experience through an internship, college project, part-time job, volunteer role, or similar experience

Nice to Have, Not Required

·      Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite

·      Basic understanding of graphic design

·      Photography basics

·      Other marketing-related skills that could add to the team

·      You should also understand how AI can be used as part of the work process and how to collaborate with it while still checking the accuracy and quality of the work. If you have not worked with AI, you should be willing to learn.

Position Details

·      Part-time,24–30 hours per week

·      Starting pay of $19–$22 per hour based on existing skills and experience

·      Salary increased as skills, responsibilities, and contributions grow

·      Primarily in the office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday

·      After 90 days, hours worked beyond the primary 24-hour in-office schedule may be worked remotely depending on ability to work independently

·      Some flexibility in the schedule

·      Holiday pay and paid time off

·      Potential to grow into a full-time position based on skills, performance, and our internal workload

·      Reports to the Marketing and Business Development Director

·      Located in our downtown Salt Lake City office
