To better support science and vocational careers, Tooele County School District imagined a state-of-the art learning center for its community. Today, this learning center supports classes and activities in health sciences, engineering sciences, information technology, biotechnology, culinary arts, graphic arts and design, child development, and cosmetology.
Located in one of the fastest-growing areas of the Salt Lake Valley, Herriman High School sits on a 60-acre site to accommodate current and upcoming student populations. The two-story structure features an auditorium, two gymnasiums, lecture hall, auto and wood shops, and a green house. Outside are two soccer fields, a football stadium with artificial turf, eight outdoor tennis courts, four outdoor basketball courts, as well as softball and baseball fields.
A charter school that blends high school and college coursework, Itineris Early College High School helps students achieve college credit at the same time they earn a high school degree. With an emphasis on biology and other sciences, Itineris features impressive lab spaces, spectacular views of the Wasatch Mountain Range, along with classrooms and offices to accommodate students, faculty and staff.
Ogden High School is a prized historical structure and remains one of the best auditorium spaces in the Ogden Valley. The unique expansion and restoration/renovation of this high school, originally built in 1936, called for constructing additional buildings and creating a central plaza that connects all of the structures.
This showcase middle school in Sandy, Utah supports the Canyons School District’s STEAM curriculum. It features six Learning Communities with primary learning spaces (classrooms) surrounding a collaboration center which supports multi-group, active, and project-based learning activities.
