An addition and remodel to this Utah junior high school introduced more space as well as more innovation. In addition to eight new classrooms, the school’s existing classrooms were reconfigured into “houses” that now accommodate small learning communities. Each house contains a science room, collaboration space, and a conference room.
The school’s music suite was remodeled to create larger band and choral rooms. In addition to converting the existing kitchen to re-therm, the commons and dining room were expanded. Some spaces were remodeled to accommodate new rooms for foods, sewing, art, and a computer lab.
