A new, permanent home for Ballet West sits immediately to the west of Capitol Theatre. The five-story addition overlaps the existing structure to add space for theatre improvements.

The Jessie Eccles Quinney Center for Dance adds space for some of the theatre’s renovation improvements and is the permanent home for Ballet West and its academy with up to 600 dance students. Five new dedicated ballet studios quadruple the company’s capacity for training and rehearsal.

The light-filled, expansive studios feature state-of-the-art sound systems, pianos and baseboard floor radiators. The facility also features additional rehearsal studios, administrative offices, reception, lounge and technical support areas. The basement contains a wardrobe and in-house costume shop with direct access for Capitol Theatre performers. The top floor offers VIP dining and a rooftop lounge.
