Located in a high seismic zone, RE+A has specialized in seismic analysis and design of new and existing structures. Over 1,000 existing buildings have been evaluated to determine their basic seismic capabilities. Generally, the studies have included economic feasibility analysis for the structural rehabilitation for the structural systems. Many of these buildings have now been strengthened to better resist earthquake forces.
